Why My Collective Compass?
There's so much to be inspired by in the health and wellness space right now. It's a really exciting time for those looking for ways to improve their wellbeing.
But being inspired by something doesn't automatically translate into successfully making long-term changes. All the energy and focus we cultivated when we are inspired can be easily lost. Like that time you joined the gym in January and then stopped going by February?!
But it doesn't have to be this way
My Collective Compass was founded because it is possible to make sustainable changes and achieve your goals when you are equipped with the right tools and knowledge.
(Even if you have a super busy schedule!)
Why are we called My Collective Compass?
We love the word 'collective' because we think there's so much benefit to being part of a community. Whether it's being able to interact with other people who are going through the same thing as you, with or experts in natural and holistic therapies who can impart a wealth of experience and information; we believe having points of connection with fellow human beings and a sense of belonging improves wellbeing.
We paired this with 'compass' because that's how we see our role in your wellness journey – we help you to find your way, explore, and navigate through information and actions with a comforting sense of 'we'll get you there'.
Introducing the founders of My Collective Compass
My Collective Compass was founded by Katrina and Emma - friends who wanted to create something rather special to help more people like them.
Both had experienced the typical imbalance and repercussions of working in busy corporate environments, having high levels of stress both personally and professionally, and suffering from chronic conditions and allergies.
Our wellbeing journeys enabled us to find balance, health, improved resilience and a toolkit to equip us with what we need to maintain our health and wellbeing going forward. The approaches we took were both natural and holistic.
The cat lover
Katrina is a certified health coach and yoga instructor who is experienced in working with individuals and corporate teams to help them to make a step change in their behaviour, embed new healthy habits, and improve their health and wellbeing for the long-term.
The dog lover
Emma is a holistic health advocate and marketer who uses her 15+ years' experience working in corporate environments to understand how My Collective Compass can deliver most value to employees and businesses.
